The stand of trees on top of St Catherine's Hill after a very heavy frost one morning.
I really like the feeling this pic gives off, to be honest if I'd not been there I wouldn't have thought a frost (no snow) could be so thick. Just to emphasize this is a colour photo, I've not changed it to greyscale or anything. Levels compressed to bring out the black and white, along with some light contrast and sharpening work and a fuzzy border. Apologies for the PNG, I kept changing my mind as to what I wanted to do with the pic and I couldn't keep resaving as a JPEG without it getting noisy. =-=-=-=-=-=-= Thanks for the kind comments  |
